Presence to Remember

In a rapidly changing world,
where everything seems to become elusive
I want to be in the here and now with you.

Followed gestures on a silent bed, placed in the isolated coldness of a completely white scenery, two bodies moving closely along with each other. Presence to Remember explores physical closeness in our digital age and the desire of capturing to preserve the memory. A work that started from a feeling of alienation and disembodiment towards herself and the other, Mar Fu Qi searched for new forms of intimacy.

To save the moment, to stand still. To get closer again.
Slowly and quietly, in the moment, together
