As someone with an unknown birth history, she is a descendant of unnamed springs. 

Mar Fu Qi (1999) is a Dutch/Chinese visual artist who works with performance, poetry, film and photography.

Her primary senses as feelers for imagination, she embodies questions that are alive.

The image as her navigation tool to travel personal emotional landscapes and experiences of everyday absurdity.

She explores the quest for identity from  a rich fascination with body memory, as she moves to
the roots of origin.
